Default 48 v UPGRADE with SW202 From Carts Unlimited

So I installed the 48v upgrade from carts unllmited. It has HD solenoid, SW202 , Alltrax 500 amp control and the electric gas pedal. Everything was working fine and then not. I turned key on and off it went a little farther then quit again. Repeated that enough to get home now its dead. Any thoughts?

I have not heard of that scenario.

When it won't go can you lift the seat and see if the LED status LED is throwing a fault code? You may have to put it on jacks, remove the seat, and play with the pedal until it does it again, then keep the predal depressed and look for a code.

Also, can you connect a laptop and repeat this a few times while driving so we see what is going on?

No it doesn't even communicate with the controller. I looked at the fuse and it doesn't seem to be blown. Maybe i have a short somewhere. IT was really weird because everything was working dandy. Then it stopped, I don't know if turning it on and off had anything to do with it, but it went then died then went. So strange. I am checking all the wiring tonight. I just hate the fact i ziptied and nicely ran all wiring now im gonna have to take it apart! My neighbor did mention that sometimes fuses can look good but still be blown. Who knows

Yeah i hooked up to computer but the pedal is dead, unless its the sw202, which I can't imagine. IT has to be something simple.

So I have been talking with Scotty B and he can't seem to find the answer to my problem. My cart powers up, ignition works, F/R works, and so does electric gas pedal, but only when I connect wire from Alltrax B+ to Solenoid small +. The solenoid clicks and the cart is fully functional. No LED warnings from controller and the diagnostics with computer are flawless. Remove "magic wire" nothing works. HELP!!!!

Sounds like your activation circuit has an issue. Hooking a wire from B+ to the solenoid + just actives it from the back side..

kgsc thanks for chiming in -
You are right and this eliminate the whole small wire circuit.
Including
1. the wire from battery to key.
2. the keyswitch.
3. wire from keyswitch to pedal fused input.
4. the pedal fuse
5. the pedal foot switch
6. the footswitch wire to the solenoid small + post.

I was told the pedal was bad so I sent a new pedal and I'm told it is bad also.
I was also told the OP did not use our instructions and diagram. So it is impossible to know some critical points of connection.

However the instruction does review the system wire by wire on page 9.
There are 8 wires to make the cart run. Each one is listed with a complete explanation of connection points.

Excuse me Scotty B but it doesn't bypass any of those. The whole system works as it should with the "magic wire" I can turn ignition on and off, the FR works as it should etc etc etc, you don't have to come out being an *** because you can't solve my issue.
