I'm still a little confused on how much gear oil I'm supposed to put in this thing? To fill it all the way seems like 4 or 5 quarts....

Alright, here are some pictures:

There's no seal behind the Bearing. the bearing is what holds the fluid in.

So this bearing appears to be compromised on the inside center between the races, must be when I installed it. I'm swapping it out, I'm just going to fill it to the top of the fill hole. I think I'll be fine.

And it's still leaking. I guess I'll put form-a-gasket around it or something must be the housing. I'll start a new thread

I answered this in your new thread. Its not a bad bearing or transaxle. Its a seal located deeper in the transaxle.
