Default Why Lithium Golf Cart Batteries are The Future

Hey guys! Awesome to see this new section on the forums. We have seen a HUGE uptick in the amount of customers converting to lithium golf cart batteries or asking questions about them.

So we went ahead and wrote an article on it: Why Lithium Golf Cart Batteries are The Future

Lithium batteries:
  • Fully Charge in 2-3 hours (vs. 8-10hrs for traditional Lead-Acid batteries)
  • They live longer (3x - 5x longer) than traditional golf cart batteries
  • They are lightweight! (weigh 1/4 the weight of Lead-Acid Batteries = more efficient cart)
  • Require No maintenance (no adding water, cleaning corrosion, or checking acid levels)
  • Lithium-Ion batteries do not lose power as voltage dips (they don’t get ‘tired’ as they are used)

Please give it a read, and call us if you have any questions about converting your golf cart batteries with a drop-in lithium solution.

Thanks!
GCTS

Do either of the lithium options have a crowsfoot style charger? (for an old yamaha g2e)

Do the lithium replacements work with the factory charger and charging electronics/components?

They don't tell you that. Don't even discuss it. And they don't tell you the cost.

Others in here have lithium and are quite happy with systems they have built.

i'm not buying anything from anybody who does not supply the basic answers to the basic questions you and I have. Simple as that.
