Holy Stuck Motor Batman!!!
Got the axle out as I am putting new leafs and a new motor on. Holy cow the old motor was a ***** to get off. I had to destroy it in the process to get to the shaft with a torch. The axle input shaft and the motor output shaft were literally rust welded together!!!! A torch, a big hammer and an hour later and it's finally off. There is no way I could have pulled this off while it was in the cart. I'll be using plenty of anti-seize on the re-install!

Re: Holy Stuck Motor Batman!!!
The rest of the cart is in great shape, but I had a hell of a time with the leaf spring bolts too, they were nearly rust welded to the bushing sleeves making it a chore.

Re: Holy Stuck Motor Batman!!!
That is also typical of a 20 yr old cart here.....We forget how tough it is to work on stuff you can't even get apart! I've got 2 words of advice.... PB Blaster. Good Luck to you.
