Battery Cables

What gauge wire is everyone using and where is the best place for the money to get them? I have stock everything, thinking about getting a PQ bandit, but that will be the extent of my proformance upgrade.

I went with 2ga. You never know what you are going to do to your cart later on. A good place to get 2ga or 4ga is here:

quick question... i notice that most of the cable kits online already have the ring terminals on them... does that mean you have to route the (neg -) around the back wall instead of through it? I had some 4awg cables made up for me by a marine place here in town (just for the batteries) but id like to have them make the remaining that come off the controller/motor, etc. So i was wondering if i have to crimp that partictular end after i fish it through the back wall?

I see a lot of guys just replace the battery cables for larger 4g and 2g wires. But fail to replace them going to the motor, controller and solenoid. Which in all doesn't really do anything for them at all. If cables are going to replaced! Then replace them all.

I ended up ordering the 4ga cables from ScottyB. I have stock everything in my cart and the only other upgrade I might do is a PQ bandit. I figured if I didn't have 2ga cables I wouldn't be tempted to mess with the controller or get a executioner type motor. Tinkering with these carts is addicting.
