Default pds wiring help and testing

Hey I'm new to the forum. So please dont rag on me.

Well i picked up a free ezgo. It's missing the batteries wiring to the controller and wireing to charger port. I need to test to see if it works. I have a car battery to use for testing. If it will even work I'd rather not buy batteries unless nessery. I looked at the wireing diagram sticky for a pds system which is identical to mine. But I can't figure out where to hook jumpers to test the system. Plz help.

If you need any more info. I will try to answer. Or put up pics. Thank you for helping.

Even a different pds wiring diagram will help a lot

You need 36V to check out system. Three 12V car batteries connected in series will suffice for testing, but they won't move the cart very far and they won't last very long because they are not designed for deep cycle applications.

The various switches that connect to the controller can be tested with an Ohmmeter. Just unplug the plugs from the controller and measure from pin to pin as they are identified on the schematic.

A jumper wire is one of the most dangerous objects there is and should be left in the toolbox except for verifying what your voltmeter and ohmmeter tell you, and then only if you don't have a replacement or substitute part and must continue troubleshooting.

Pictures would help identify what is and isn't there.

Also, you can download the Owner, the Service and the parts manuals for a PDS cart from the stickies at the top of this forum.

Since you are new here, I'll post a link.
They are the three PDF files.

There is a video on the website I posted the link to.

You probably have a TXT body style.

Should be a label below Charger receptacle and another one on the frame under the black plastic flap the partially covers the back row of batteries.
