here are some of my pics. Cabin I built, cook shack, food plot, stands.

You can sure tell your a Red Neck
by leaving your christmas lights up year round
On your new plowed feild , what is that in green growing
looks like millit or sorgam. Thats going to be a good size plot
how many acres is it ? are you planting a mixture of peas and clover ?

Dang sure wish I had a food plot that size for the comming season
we have 1 cut over thats maybe 10-15 acres.
this would make a nice plot. But we need to do alot of work to get it there
like mainly root rakeing and disking this area is where they cut and harvested the pine trees .
Looks like we wont be able to go up there now untill June but I will get some pictures and send them to someone here for posting if y'all will do it for me.

If you have a fresh cut over of 10-15 acres in the middle of timber land you got you a supreme hunting spot for next season. When the rut comes in the bucks will be looking in the cut over areas. Does will be there eating all the new vegetation. Set your stand up early according to season winds.
People b###h about timber companies cutting the land. I look forward to all the good hunting coming up.

Thanks BCW. To the left of food plot pic I planted oats and winter peas. To the right was winter wheat, rape, and clover. Most of this will soon be gone from the heat but I hope to get a little reseeding from letting it grow to seed head and then disc down.

I have a question. Are these food plots planted just to attract game ? You don't use what grows in them ? Just wondering.

We get two good uses from food plots
#1. They feed the deer a good supply of needed food
when times are tuff for them to forage in the wild.
#2. We then have a well fed deer and healthy deer when
we harvest our deer . Then we eats good

Man its been dry here in FL, none in over a month Hot as Heck too already
95 today on my front porch.
just wondering about the guys in GA and the food plots
