Default 36v to 48v upgrade help

I have a 82 marathon resistor cart with no upgrades. The batteries are about shot and I was thinking about going 48v if possible. What will I have to change besides batteries, charger, wires, and solenoid? Does the motor have to be changed? Thanks in advance for your answer.

The motor is the only thing you mentioned that will NOT need changing... The resistor coils will have to go and you will need a new throttle position sender & solid state speed control ... Not a cheap deal.... Use the site search engine this subject is discussed 2xs a week. You will find plenty of info in the archives
