Melted FNR switch and wires
So I took the cart out to play in the rain and I guess I put too much stress on the FNR switch with the mudding and what not. The two lower wires on the switch actually melted right off the switch. I should have seen this coming as it's been finicky getting it to engage the past few days. My questions are.
1. Should I replace the whole switch for the hundred bucks or is it just the same to buy the new contact board and cam and rebuild it myself? 2. I obviously have to replace some wiring so I figure I'll just replace all the cables going into and out of the switch. Is it REALLY worth replacing EVERYTHING with 4 gauge for a stock cart or should I save myself the bit of money and time and just replace what is damaged? |

Re: Melted FNR switch and wires
Thanks! Do you by any chance know approx how many feet of cable is required to make all the connections? I figure if I'm gonna do it I may as well replace ALL of them.
