2014 club car possible bad mcor
Hey all, thanks for all the great info I've found from this wonderful site.
2014 club car 48v So to my scenario: I was having problems with the cart randomly dying on me so I thought it was probably wiring under the dash. I found the key switch wired hanging on by a thread, so I put new connectors on. Everything seemed to work ok, wasn't dying anymore. Then I noticed if you put the pedal to the floor it would die out until you let off the pedal a bit and power would come back. Fast forward a week and it just completely died wouldn't go anymore with the pedal. So I did some googling leading me to the Mcor. I jumped the wires on the 2 pin connector for the mcor and when I pressed the pedal a little it shot off like a rocket full speed! Now I'm trying to understand what that means. Should the pedal of worked normally when jumped or should of acted the way it did? If anyone has any insight to this I would very much appreciate it. It also looks like it might a mcor conversion on it as well which is weird? I have attached a picture. |

It means the micro switch in the MCOR isn't working. Also, your cart has a TPS adapter on it from where it was converted from TPS to MCOR at some point in the past. Your cart is not a 2014. It's either a 2009 or an early 2010. The correct replacement part that you need to order is the AM293001 - MCOR4 conversion kit.
