Cheapest place for 295cc engine parts
Where's the cheapest online place for 295cc parts such as head/exhaust gaskets and valves?
I've found exhaust valves from $20 to $42 each and as I'm on a strict budget I'd like to find the cheapest supplier. Thanks |

Are you sure you need to replace the valves, or do they just need to be adjusted?

Re: Cheapest place for 295cc engine parts
Definitely burnt out - not sure I can get away with a regrind or not. Interestingly I found an ebay seller who was selling 9 cylinder heads - every one of them had bad valves so it sounds as though they are a weak point on the Robin.

Yep, the valves are not hardend steel and wear quickly however the replacement valves are and should last.

Re: Cheapest place for 295cc engine parts
Great - thanks
Are the heads normally salvageable with just a regrind or do they need to have new inserts installed? I see there are also 2 different types of valve retainers - can we replace the old with the new if we get the new retainers etc? |

Re: Cheapest place for 295cc engine parts
Did you check out my site www.radicalgolfcarts.com? From what I have seen on the net we have been the cheapest on OEM E-Z-GO parts. If something isn't on my site that you need give me a call tomorrow @989-697-3080, or pm me any questions that you have.

Thanks - I'll go take a look and see if you have what I need. Head comes off at the weekend.

Re: Cheapest place for 295cc engine parts
You'll have to change the retainers to the new style if you get replacement valves and have the old style.
