Default Hlvp system vs air compressor for painting golf cart

I'm thinking of buying a Hlvp paint sprayer for spraying our bedroom furniture.

Then I thought I would like to use it to paint a few golf cart bodies a year also.

I have a 30 Gal air compressor I use to build carts like adding lift kits and stuff.

I was wondering would that be sufficient for spraying a golf cart body and furniture?

Or, buy a HLVP like the Fuji 2 stage semi pro for around $439 with the gun.

I been spending hours reading about HLVP turbine vs Air Compressors.

Instead of spending $3k to buy a new bedroom set, we just want to change the color from a dark brown to white.

Then I thought, what a cool idea if I could custom paint a few builds I do a year, usalley around 2 carts

Any help from the experts here or advise is greatly appreciated

I've got a Fuji three stage turbine system and it works great. My main love in life is woodworking and I use the HVLP setup for painting furniture and have shot some automotive paint before with great success. Like any paint work, prep, prep, and more prep.

I'll check out the Fuji 3 stage

I do have a whole master bedroom set also to shoot, its dark brown and about 5 years old, so I want to shoot it white now also

I ended up buying a 30 gallon Husky Air Compressor and a LVLP spray gun instead of the HVLP spray gun. The lvlp gun runs below the CFM rating of the compressor I just bought

If you're going to paint furniture, give General Finishes milk paint a look. I use their stuff when shooting paint on furniture and then follow with their top coat using the chosen finish sheen.

I bought the Fuji Semi Pro 2 HVLP turbine system to try automotive painting, but going to shoot the bedroom furniture first. I noticed allot of reviews said the General Mills milk paint didnt cover until 4-5 coats. Did you use a primer or base coat in white before shooting white milk paint ?
