Comet clutches
I have a guy here in town says he has clutches that will work for my golf cart. What is the diameter of the comet 780 clutch tom used to have instock before they went out of bussiness. They have 1" bore and 1/4 keyway. Just want to know correct diameter

The 1" bore clutches are usually for the big block / honda / clonda / briggs motor swaps that have a "straight" shaft. Which engine do you have in your cart? How much is he asking/how many does he have? The only other thing to be concerned about would be replacement parts, they are almost impossible to get or find since Comet went out of business. Regards

I have the clonda in garage. Just need clutch and belt to get started. The clutch was 6" diameter on ebayand he had 2. Buying stuff off of ebay really concerns me. Ill just probably be better off saving for toms clutch and belt. The add says upto 1 1/2 belt and 1 bore 1/4 keyway
