Default 1999 ezgo txt speed issues

I'm restoring a 1999 TXT series cart and have new T-105 batteries, new 4 gauge cables. The cart runs pretty good but goes slow up inclines and sometime when the pedal is pressed it will not go (possible too hot). Maybe bad solenoid, it does not click. I'm going to sell it once I can get it running right, what would be the best option. Get the motor rebuilt and replace the solenoid or convert it to a 48V. There is a post here for motor, controller and solenoid from a 2010 TXT just wondering if it would work. The T-105 will be used in another cart that I'm working on.

if it has stock solenoid, its too weak for any lifted cart, possible cause of "doesnt go". "low power" could be a stock controller issue or weak solenoid. but before we jump to any conclusions, clip your meter leads to the controller B+ & B- terminals, then replicate the problems, noting the voltages during the issue. i think i would get the stock solenoid out of there anyway, there are not-too-expensive upgrade solenoids out there (they will be more than $30 tho).

If it is the solenoid what would be the one to buy, and what does the solenoid actually do for the carts. I would rather buy it from one of the sponsors here

The main solenoid or contactor is the power on/off switch for the high amperage supply side. Can't hardly have too good of a unit there.

As for this question = no.

This is a different type of drive system (sepex)
