Voltage Regulator - OEM or aftermarket?
It seems my G9 needs a new voltage regulator. Is this one of those parts where aftermarket works just fine, or does it really need to have the OEM one (at $75)?

Re: Voltage Regulator - OEM or aftermarket?
Most people will tell you that OEM is best and they are likely correct. To be honest, though, I have used a lot of after market ones and, while their quality probably isn't as good, the money savings probably makes them worth it. For that matter, I have seen a lot of instances where vendors sell things as OEM but the part is actually aftermarket anyways.
