![]() Yes, there's a connector that looks like this to unplug.

![]() I'll just wait it out then. I did buy the curtis programming cable and software so it's going 27mph vs 20.

![]() If you look at their website it looks like they may be coming out with controllers as well. Changing out the controller and the battery would work so I don't think it'll be just a battery but I'm not sure.

![]() Hey Tasher,
I totally understand your frustration with the high costs of OEM parts, and it's great to see you’re looking to upgrade your setup. The Eco EB 160 AH lithium batteries sound like a solid choice for your 2018 EZGO RXV Freedom Elite. You’re correct that you’ll need a new controller, and I agree that the wiring harness is key, especially considering the way your current BMS communicates with the controller. While part number 671770 may be used across both lithium and lead-acid configurations, it’s essential to ensure that the wiring harness matches the new controller you're planning to use. For the Navitas 600 AMP controller, I found a good option online. It should be compatible with your battery upgrade, but always verify the specs with the supplier before purchasing: [https://navitasvs.com/products/tsx3-0-dc-controller] As for the wiring harness, I would suggest double-checking with the manufacturer or a specialist about the exact model you need, especially with the change to a lithium battery and ensuring the BMS works seamlessly with the new controller. You might also want to explore whether an adapter or additional connectors are needed for the Eco EB 160 AH batteries. On a side note, I’ve had good experiences with Olelon Energy's lithium batteries and controllers. If you’re ever looking for high-quality, customizable solutions, their products might be worth exploring. They offer flexible, modular options and have a great reputation for compatibility with various carts. Good luck with your upgrade, and feel free to reach out if you need any further tips or ideas! |
