I wonder if express elite controller could be swapped into the liberty? Both carts use the Samsung batteries and the controller connector looks the same..

That is exactly what I was wondering. I tried to talk my local dealership into trying it but a no-go there. If ezgo doesn't help me out with this I'm just going to take out the samsung battery (which I hate to do know what I spent on getting the double pack) and put in a 3rd party battery so I can start modifying controller. Not ideal at all but this cart literally will not start once you stop on a hill if you have more than 1 person on it. That just isn't acceptable.

If you can find someone with a Programming Station or a Curtis Handheld slow down the acceleration settings and see if that helps the torque on the hills when you're stopped. Slow down both the LS and HS settings.

I am the novice at all of this, but my cart is running a little over 30 mph. I did the FastRXV chip update. I don’t know what it changed or if it will eventually burn my cart out but so far running perfectly. Literally took seconds to do the update. My cart is a 2018 RXV lithium with 20.5” tall tires. I would love to know what was changed doing the update.

If you saved a CPF file before and after you could figure out what changed

I don’t even know what a CPF file is. I just took the chance since it was relatively cheap. I will have to keep my fingers crossed and hope for the best long term.

I am considering using the FastRXV Tuner -- which one did you use and what has happened with wear, tear, etc. since you installed it?

With some basic technical skills, you can DIY a cable and program it yourself. Then you know exactly what you changed and can undo at any point. Way cheaper too.

I so far have not noticed any issues at all. It has only been about 4 months, and my usage is limited to getting to my course via the road at 30 MPH, and general rounds of golf that are not very taxing. I bought the stage 2 for $149, and so far thrilled. Several others at my club have also installed the same one and all have similar results with speed topping out in the upper 20's to low 30's. They got theirs about a month after me.

Myself I like doing my own stuff. I dial it in the way I like not the way someone else thinks it should be. Every time I sale my cart I take the new owner for a ride and ask them if they would like me to change any settings to suit them better. And if there is ever a problem, I can fix it myself.
