Default Club Car Caroche vglide

Has anyone seen a clubcar Caroche with a speed wiper in the battery compartment like a Vglide? I have had 4 different caroche’s and the linkage always goes from the pedal to behind the dash to a mounted switch. All 3 were between 1975-1980. This most recent one has a linkage that goes straight back to the battery compartment where a vGlide normally mounts into a switch that looks similar to a vGlide but different looking. Then it has the single row resistor and solenoids. This one is a 1970-73 model judging by the body only. I am going to snatch out all that and put a pot and solid state controller with 400amp solenoid. If anyone has any laying around from a recent upgrade let me know. Before anyone says not to waste my time, I have been collecting caroches for 3 years now for my restoration project. I dont want ac speed demon

Somebody probably did a modification. You are describing a 1985 & up type drive system.

Yes that’s what it looks like to me. It has a round top instead of the pie shape. Like an arched doorway so to speak. But this is good news because installing a pb8 should be super easy now. If this wasn’t factory whoever did it did a great job because all the brackets look like they are supposed to be there. Here is a picture of the unit…

My 72 caroche also had the same system in it, I also pulled it all out and put the pb and solid state in.

Somone had previously modified it though, they had removed the oem pedal assembly and replaced it with a yamaha assembly, as well as a yamaha axle/trans.
