At 71% it should still have a ton of battery left!

Your cart absolutely won't have a ton of "usable" battery left at 71%. How many miles did you drive until you got to 71%? You should be referencing the voltage more than your spudder. One of my kids got home last night and said they had to limp home driving 8 MPH. Well the SOC was 65, in the yellow, and was reading 47 volts. Yes, the batteries have a ton of charge left BUT you don't want to use it. Doing so will drastically reduce the lifespan of said batteries. So the controller automatically kicks into limp mode (most likely what you are experiencing) so that you use less power, think that your batteries are dead, and get home to charge.

So if I were you I would do two things. First, always have your cart plugged in when not using it. And yes, even if you are going to drive it 30 minutes later...plug it in. Second, record how many miles you can drive before the cart gets down to say 75%. Do this in one single drive. I think you will find that, depending on the number of hills and stop/go's, you will be around 25 miles.

One last thing, new batteries take some cycling in order to be fully broken in. After 10-20 cycles you should notice A LOT better millage per charge.

Thank you for the info. I took it to the dealer and they checked all batteries when the dash showed 73% and they all read low.
But I only got maybe 6 miles on it till it got to 73%, that’s not very good in my opinion.

Did you ever get it figured out? I hit limo mode 6-8 miles on fully charged batteries. Been this way since new.
