Default 2016 Club Car Precedent accelerator pedal sensitivity adjustment?

The cart doesn't accelerate until the pedal is pressed about 25%. It will also jump when it begins moving. It's not violent jump but we like to ride around the neighborhood with our toddlers. It would help to have better throttle control at low speeds. Is there any way to adjust the pedal for a smoother acceleration? It's a 2016 Club Car precedent, 48v, 6 inch lift, 23 inch tires, Speed Code 4, OEM controller and motor.

There is usually a bit of travel before the "click" of the micro switch in the throttle MCOR unit, then acceleration can start after that. 25% is a little much though.

MCOR units are notoriously problematic, but they are pretty inexpensive and easy to change out. I'd say it is a good bet that replacing it would fix your issue. Even if you aren't too familiar with the process and don't do it often it can be done in between 15-30 minutes.

Good luck.

If it's jumping, it's got a bad MCOR. Your 2016 will have an MCOR4, part number 105116301. Don't buy a China replacement. Get one of the OEM units or you'll be replacing it again soon. As mentioned above, a bit of pedal travel prior to the click is normal, but a bad MCOR can amplify the feeling of excessive throttle input prior to engagement.

Thank you both for your input. It's a big help. I'll go ahead and search for an OEM MCOR.
