My lowered club car build
Hey guys. New to the carting world but my daughter's wanted a golf cart so I found a 2002 club car ds 48v really cheap and have decided to make it a little bit cooler. Anyways. Lowered rear with blocks but the brake line retainer located on the ubolt bracket was hitting my tires. Therefore I removed block and drilled rear shackles and moved leaf up until new wheels come in. Gonna flip the front spring and planning on adding air shocks at all 4 corners. Going with a 205 tire on a 12 inch wheel. Body is off to paint right now and it is getting painted Go Go Green. Chrysler color. Doin some cleaning and polishing all of the aluminum while I wait for paint. Thanks

Re: My lowered club car build
Ok. Waiting on parts to come back from paint. Getting so.e mixed reviews on wheels. This thing is going to sit pretty low. I definitely want a 12 inch wheel and 205 tire. I am getting some people saying I need a 5:2, some saying I need a 3:3 or centered wheel and some saying 3:4. Any suggestions? Should I stick with a 6 inch wide wheel since its a club car and has tight fenders? Thanks

Been working on this thing a little bit. Chrome steering column and tinted the windshield. Waiting on wheels and tires and paint.

Re: My lowered club car build
Flipped front spring and shocks were too short, so I made some brackets to get the shocks back to operating length. Probably going to do the Monroe air shocks. I see people using the 705 air shocks but they have the wrong ends on them for me. Is there a part number for same shock but different ends?

Wheels and tires came in. Patiently awaiting paint and body guy!! Not really patiently awaiting but you can understand. He has had the body and top for 2 weeks.
