Just tried it, that's interesting. I had actually never uploaded pics directly from my phone before. So basically all iPhone users need to make sure that the earpiece is to the left when taking photos...

Problem now is the new iPhones don't have the headphone jack so we will lose somebody.

How about a home button reference?

Wait a minute, OP showed pic in correct orientation and noted ear piece at 9 o'clock. So volume buttons would be pointing down to have a pic in correct orientation. Don't go confusing us lol!

OP used the ear piece for reference not the headphone jack. But according to OP, home button would be at 3 o'clock

I was using an iphone 6. But i'm confused now. The headphone jack is on the bottom of an iphone 6. Same side as the home button. Best I can remember the head phone jack is in the same place on a 5s. I don't know what the earpiece is but the only thing on the top of an iphone 5s is the power button. This is moved to the right side on the 6 and later models. (looking at the phone's face--home button on the bottom.)

I just tested this here: http://www.buggiesgonewild.com/test-...est-photo.html
Photo was taken with an iphone 6 with the volume buttons up and posted directly--no manipulation.

The reflection shows your phone at the native 0 degree landscape orientation with the volume buttons facing down.
