I've done it before. You sure won't be disapointed with a 700. I put a 440 Arctic Cat engine in and it definately will haul!!
Install is pretty straight foward. I used the snowmobile's primary clutch which worked perfect for me. Hey be sure to get your wheelie bar ready!!

That is badass....but i dont know if i will be able to run the 700 because of the size...yours lookds like a really clean well dont setup...maybe i will fine a 440 to put in it...lol were did you run your exhaust too and did you just use the same rear pully that is on a stock one...also have you had any toubles tearing up the rear end?? wow i am kinda excited to try this

Right, #1 make sure it will fit in there. The first one I bought was close to 600cc with recoil start only. The recoil made it extra wide and the engine wouldn't fit between the frame rails. Got a hammer?

I used the stock driven clutch. I didn't have any problems with the rear holding up to the power. They are capable of much more. I ran the exhaust out the back witout the expansion chamber. Find some way to fit the expansion chamber in there at all costs for max power.
I just used a car muffler to quiet it down some.
You can kinda see the muffler here.

Good luck with your project!!

Wouldnt you have to find some way to fit the stock exhaust in there wouldnt you?? on a 2-stroke motor you need some type of back compression...(like were the pipe gets smaller) for better combustion? i am kinda looking for a 440 motor i really like the one that Xtreme did...it looks real clean and im sure it would run pleanty good enough

It definately runs better with the expansion chamber.
