Default Yamaha G! with John Deere 340/5 need help

I have a Yamaha G1 purchase it in June. I found out that the motor was replaced with a JDX4 (KEC-340/5) which is a John Deere Snowmobile motor. It goes forward no problem. The electical is still on the golf cart fenders need help to figure out what is missing and where things go. If someone has pictures of there engine compartment to see the electric reverse I will appreciate that to. I will post pictures if someone can help me that need to see more. 973-652-7358 Len.

There is no reverse! The stock motor on a G1 runs backwards for reverse. Someone swapped the engine, so you dont have reverse.

Good luck

Is there a way to get a stock G1 motor, used or rebuilt?
