100 hours on my Clonda
Yesterday I turned 100 hrs on my 16 hp Carrol Stream clonda ,the bolts worked lose on the side cover once, 4 oil changes & keep air cleaner open, that's it, not even a plug change.
Not as fast as a Vtwin but less expensive. I bought the 780 & driven from Tom.Still have not removed the gov. (wire tied). Will run in the 30's at about 3900 rpm's , I usually don't run it over 3700. I think it's a good alternative if you can't afford the Vtwin . I tried snowmobile engines first,TOO noisy, & never could get everything to work as it should, the noise was the main thing. Hookm |

Re: 100 hours on my Clonda
Cool man! All my clone engines are holding up well too. They aren't a 27hp water cooled Kawasaki but these engines do good for the money.
