![]() I have just acquired a Kawasaki 440 Motor that I plan on installing into my 84 EZGO.
First (of many I am sure) wall I have hit is how do work out the motor and the stock EZGO Rear end. If I lineup the two clutches it will work but I will have the fastest EZGO Golf cart that only goes backwards. The EZGO Driven clutch is perpendicular to the rear end. Not enough clearance over the axle to mount to motor over it to its facing the correct direction. Any thoughts? |

That said, finding a 1994-up transaxle/axle shouldn't be too hard, and all in all would probably be the easiest and cheapest solution with the least amount of hardcore fab work. |
