No, that is a "sense" wire that triggers your Powerdrive Charger. You can roll it up now and ty-wrap it out the way if you want to completely remove the OBC.

So to cap this thing off I found the culprit. When I jumped the blue and white wires for bypassing the OBC I did a crap job that only lasted a day. I thought I was being clever by putting a bent wire into the connector instead of doing a proper job of connecting them. Since it worked for a day I thought it was good to go. I circled back when I was getting battery pack power to all the wires going to the controller that I was supposed to except the blue one. Turns out the bent wire I used was just a tad too small to make a solid connection.
I did a proper job now and all is well with the world. The clouds have parted and my depression has lifted. The world feels right again. Ahhhhh The moral of the story is don't do a crap job when bypassing your OBC. Cheers! |
