This is the real McCoy, ‘69 HD D Cart, the last year HD produced a 3 wheeler. In late ’69 AMF purchased HD and the carts were branded HD/AMF. IMO this adds to the value of this cart for the purist!

The cart for sale is my personal cart bought with the intention restoring to factory original. My continued health issues and recent surgeries have forced me to put the cart up for sale.

This restoration project has come along way however there is still much work to be completed. Please contact me via email for details.

The following is a list of all the work/parts included in the restoration. Some of the parts still require installation. This list comes from memory and is not inclusive of all parts purchased.

- NEW motor. This is not a rebuilt motor, it is brand new including cases, crank assy, rod assy, piston assy, cylinder, flywheel, bearings, gaskets, seals, shims, etc., cost including assy labor & shipping $800. The only part that is used on motor is cylinder head and flywheel shroud!
- Points, condenser, spark plug, coil wire, coil
- Choke cable, throttle cable, brake cable
- Starter solenoid
- New generator & drive belts

- 2 coats PPG high-end base coat, 4 coats clear coat, cost including paint, reducer, activator, thinner, etc., $700 – PROFESSIONALLY DONE, THE BODY LOOKS FACTORY ORIGINAL! Paint color is HD Screamin Eagle Electric Orange & Black with silver accent stripe
- Full cowling/body undercoat with correct foam padding for cowling on cross member
- HD OEM aluminum emblems, front & rear cowl, color matched
- Rear axle seal assy
- New brake pads & springs
- Remanufactured clutch
- Re-chromed – Front bumper, tiller handle, side cowl trim (previously brushed aluminum), front axle, washers, nylock nut, rear bumper, brackets, bolts & washers, bagwell brackets & bolts, body strengthening bar for body @ shift mechanism & bolts, etc.
- New attaching hardware – front cowling, body, motor, etc., stainless as required, nylock nuts throughout
- New turf tires, rims & period correct chrome hub caps
