Default 94 EZ-GO Marathon Build

Hey guys! first time posting...

I have been working on my 2010 Mitsubishi Evolution but decided I wanted a side project. So I picked up a 94 ez-go marathon golf cart for $70. It doesn't have any batteries but the rust isn't too bad. My overall goal is to build this cart into a lifted offroader/cruiser.

I started the break down process. I did include a pic of the motor; I don't know if it runs. I did luck out that it's the controller version and not resistor. I want to get a top speed of 20-25mph. What is the cheapest way to upgrade the power to that range?

Hope you enjoy the build as it's my first one.

new update i noticed that I have a 48V club car powerdrive2 charger. The cart is missing the charging connector and mount. Will this charger work if I convert the cart to 48V or will I need to trade this thing out?

You got a steal on that cart! It looks to be in great shape

Scottyb at Carts Unlimited is the place to go for speed upgrades. You tell him what you want and he will set you up. Here's a link to his site: http://cartsunlimited.net/Custom_Options.html

The charger you have only works on 48v Club Cars with the OBC system. How much do you want for it
