Default Curtis 1268 wiring

Hi, I am installing a Curtis 1268 in an ezgo Rxv shell.
There is a connection j17 on the low side of the contactor,
Novice question does this j17 connect to the large 48v +ve pole,
Or the small -ve connection on the contactor

Thanks

J1-17 should be the ground for the coil activation circuit.

That’s great thanks, that is how I had it setup. The controller pin on pot high only reads 0.61v. I have tried a 4 wire ohms throttle but still nothing.
Key on - 48v to where it’s meant to be. R and F show 48v when selected.
The contactor has 48v on both post if it’s engaged or not, but there is a resistor between the posts so probably correct.
B+ reads 48v and so does M with contactor in or out. I have not had any led flashing it seems dead. The

Ok so nothing,
I have acquired a Curtis 1313 handheld,
It comes up with no system detected.
I have pack voltage to contactor, B+ and M+
Is the controller bad or is there a trick to waking it up.

The handheld is either not seeing the controller due to a bad or broken connection or the controller is dead. These are the only times I have encountered this. Last time, it was a broken wire in my handheld cable at the plug.

Great thanks, some person put J4 in J3 now corrected, I have power!
I am getting a 2:4 warning message. Contactor low, when I turn the key on the contactor clicks. I have 48v where I think it should be. With the resistor between both sides of the contactor it always reads 48v is there a way to test it. I need to read more how to diagnose faults with the 1313
