Everyone I have seen here is negative ground. Not sure about across the pond but they are built here.

Nope, not a UK thing for carts! Last one I saw here with non start issue was owner wiring as per diagram as positive ground. Simply swapping the leads on the battery solved the non start. When you look at the diagram, it plainly shows what should be ground, being switched via the relay to kill the magneto. The other part of the diagram that could cause confusion is the battery lead for ground is red????.

Must’ve been a Friday when they made the picture.. Power going to key switch is strange as well.

Unless I see a different diagram to you, power only goes to keyswitch after pedal switch as previous models. Only real difference is no TCI igniter and magneto kill wire via relay added. Much simpler to diagnose. As hinted by Trig, either the kill wire is shorted by the relay or coil or spark plug is fubar.

Correct but what I found strange is it goes to the reverse micro before it goes to the pedal switch..

I was up really late last night when I looked at this wiring diagram. You are right, it shows positive as ground. I never knew any ezgo that was positive ground. Let me try and find a book manual and see what it shows. I know where one is but I will have to drive to where I use to work.
Updates later on this. For now I say disregard this picture until I find out whats going on.

Again, it is deceiving. It does not go through the reverse microswitch, its a piggyback connection just like the earlier models. It is just poorly represented in the diagram/drawing.
