How hard would it be to add a CANbus Bluetooth module while your in there. I have one of them also, and have installed a several. I believe the SOC meter is CAN. It would be great to be able to connect with one of the generic apps available.

The RoyPow's that I have repaired have been very good quality. I will add that RowPow has an issue with the new line of L series batteries. The BMS is shutting down during Regen.
I installed one a few days ago on a Yamaha D2 AC, and any relatively long hill will trip it out. Made for a very unhappy cart owner. Cart is all stock except for slightly larger wheels. P series works fine, but the battery sleep is way to quick.

48 volt, the regular "S" model. Not the higher performance "P" model.

Which makes sense given the c rating of the cells and the bms used. (perfect fit for stock carts)

Nice - thanks for the open pics! With adding a new BMS, were you able to upgrade to one that had more than a 200 AMP output?

No, they sent free replacement of the same one (unfortunately).

Is it at least the 200amp rated version? If not keep in mind the 200amp version is plug and play with your existing wiring harnesses if it fails again. QUCC also sells these identical 6-21s bms units under their brand name as well

You can always limit the max output of the current in the bms software and still have the advantage of the stronger hardware without damaging the smaller c rated cells. adding heatsinks to the mosfet plates would also help.
