Default Melex 102

Hi all, I have picked up a couple of carts from local golf course,
One is a melex 102, thought it was scrap but put 36v through it and it works!
Was told it has been stood 20+ years.
What should I expect from this cart?
It weighs a ton and could definitely be used as a slow speed battering ram

Is that a three wheeler? Those are fun to ride around. A lot of the Melex carts were very close copies of the Ezgo carts available at the time.

Convert it to solid state and make a fun cart out of it!

That should be the plan, is the motor capable of achieving anything useful?

Without seeing the details on it it's hard to say for sure, but it should be fine on 36v and likely fine on 48v as well with a controller upgrade.
