intermittent starting issue 93 par car P4g
I have been having a starting issue with my 1993 Par Car p4g. When I turn the key to forward or reverse and press the gas I get nothing, but here's the weird thing if I flip on the the after market lights on and off and mess with key switch it will magically start. Them it will be fine for a few weeks. It only happens once in about 50 start ups. Does any have any idea on were to start to try and get to the root cause? I'm kind of at a loss on were to start. I have checked and cleaned all the grounds.

Re: intermittent starting issue 93 par car P4g
You certainly have a unique situation. The lights should be completely independent of the ignition system. Someone may have tried to wire them to the ignition switch which is a no-go in these carts. Trace your light wires from the lights back to power. Make sure that they don't go through the ignition switch.
