Re: Rebuilding my VW powered Yamaha G14 limo
So the engine swap went well and I upgraded to two new Viair compressors to allow the tank to fill faster for the air ride. More power baby! I took the cart to sand mountain NV with a set of rib front tires and UTV paddles out back. It worked GREAT! I was able to climb to the top of the mountain out there which I didn't think the cart would be cap[able of doing. Pics to come when I get more time.

Re: Rebuilding my VW powered Yamaha G14 limo
Now for some of the things that were done... Sand tires were bought and mounted. The 1641 was yanked out and a 1776 was installed with dual Webber 40 IDF carburetors, electronic ignition, etc. The single air compressor was swapped for dual compressors for the air ride. Some billet goodies were bolted on including a sweet serpentine belt system from MST.

The ignition system from CB Performance and the disc brake conversion for the back. It now has 4 wheel independent suspension on air ride with four wheel disc brakes! I managed to plumb in roll-control for burnouts too, just need to finish the wiring.
