Default Want to go faster!

I want to ride 10-15 mph, but if necessary 25-30 mph.

I've read and talked to enough people to be undecided.

Thought I could get some straight answers here from people who have done it.

EZO 96 electric.

36 volt

Regin

Drive control system

Question:

What is the best way to get more speed from an electric?

Please be motor, part, item, controller, etc etc, design specific.

I intend to purchase these items and build up.

If tossing the current 36v and going to 48....than so be it.

As always...thanks folks.

DCS Cart..... I would probably contact EMP - they are a site sponsor that re-mans motors according to what you wanted to do.... it will cost you a couple of hundred dollars.

EZPZ.

To get 25 -30 MPH you will need to change EVERYTHING. A motor alone won't do it.

Speed control
Motor
Upgrade to 48 volts
48 volt solenoid....and more.

Imagine taking your child into the doctor's office...the doctor says, "well, he'll need one of these, and one of those, and more." Lets me ask you....is the and more, important? Cheeze. I don't mean to sound harsh or like I have an attitude....but and more sounds like the dealers I've been talking to. I've pumped out around $4000. plus my time. It's a TOY!!! Do we have limits on our toys?! Don't think so! ))

Once again.

I'm asking what to me sounds like a simple question.

How, as in what do I have to buy, and do, to get an electric cart go maximum ---30 mph. :-))

Sorry - I read 20 to 25.

Here is what you want to do....

Alltrax 500 amp controller - off of the top of my head I don't remember - DCX or AXE?
D&D motor - 76-51 is a great mix of speed and torque or their speed motor
White Rodgers 48 volt solenoid
2 Extra Trojan T-105's
