Lift kits?
Looking at purchasing a lift kit. Don't know which route to take. Long haul 6 inch or 7 inch double arm. Can someone give me some pros and cons on this topic? Thanks!

Re: Lift kits?
Long Travel will give you the best overall ride quality.
Double A-arm is second. A spindle lift is the easiest to install but offer no real improvement in ride quality. |

Re: Lift kits?
I bought a 6" a-arm then sold it and bought the long travel for adjustment reasons. I ride on roads ever day this way I can eliminate a lot of tire wear.
I could have saved a lot of money had I done it first. |

Re: Lift kits?
I just bought a 7" All sports double A Arm and fit 23" tires on my g2 no problem.
If you need help installing the A-Arm kit, let me know....the instructions are pretty weak. You can PM me. |

Re: Lift kits?
allsports has a "high" 5 inch lift kit that will fit up to a 27 inch tire. ive been through three lifts and have stopped at this one. I love it and it works great. Im running 25 inch tires.

Re: Lift kits?
Just remember Rocket Man the bigger you go with the tires and lift the more power your going to need to turn them tires. I put Plowmans clutch kit on my cart and i went with big 22's. With a built factory engine my cart would climb hills but not as well as i wanted. I went with the clone engine and now it has all the speed and power i need to get up hills with the larger tires. As far as the lift if i had the money i would go with the Long Travel.

Re: Lift kits?
Allsports 7" dual is what I run on my g16. Good rid, plenty of lift for 22's, and still makes it thru the tight trails.

Re: Lift kits?
Best advice.....long travel..... You won't be disappointed and can fit 22 to 24 inch tires on most.
