Keep your Briggs, I'll use a Kohler
Check out the RPM's coming off this Command V twin. Midwest Super Cub also has quite a few hop up parts available for Kohlers. www.midwestsupercub.net

Re: Keep your Briggs, I'll use a Kohler
I think i'll stick with briggs . Came into carts from a racing mower background , 95% of racing mowers are briggs , the kohler engines will turn faster but that makes it harder on other parts , also they won't last
as long as a briggs when built to the limit . The holder of the world land speed record for a mower did it with a briggs . He lives in north Ga . and is an engineer with snapper . and lastly tho available , to the limit hop up parts for a kohler are more expensive , ( there are not as many suppliers ) Not knocking kohler engines , they are very good engines . Remember when looking at that sled pulling engine , it was built to turn to the max and not built to last very long , I myself need my cart to run a long time even if it could be built to run faster . |

I have the 25hp command. I love it. What have you guys done to loose the govner on it. I just put a heavy duty spring on it to hold it wide open. I know its not the best for it but it runs so good with it like that.

Wignout, Curious how you overcame the drive shaft diameter issue when changing out the EzGo motor to the Kohler. I have both but am currently stumped on how to make the Kohler 25hp work with the EzGo drive assembly.

1190 will fit a 1.125" diameter straight shaft with .250 key slot.
