First Cart build
Hey, I just bought a 1987 Marathon. It is in decent shape. I am undertaking my first cart project and would love any input/ ideas you may have to help me along. I am planning on putting a rear seat, new batteries and a paint job and seat updates. Pretty much just gonna use it for around the campgrounds, so speed is not a huge issue. I already have a new set of wheels and tires, stock but they are great. I have to put new batteries in it and go from there. Also, it did not have a top on it, any thoughts as to adding one to it. Thanks in advance for the ideas. KD.

Sounds like a great project. Cruise thru the member's rides section and check out all the other Marathon builds...

Re: First Cart build
My Latest pictures of my cart. Still a work in progress. Hope to have my rear seat on soon. I have a top, but I am having trouble finding supports for this particular car. Still looking. Got my batteries installed and it runs great.

Re: First Cart build
Keith looks good. Very similar to my marathon. Was thinking of painting mine a similar color. Did you do the paint yourself? What else do you have planned for it?
