Default HD solenoid clicking

So I have gone through and replaced my controller, wires, HD F&R, and put in an HD solenoid and new micro switch in the 99 ez-go series cart. When I replaced the solenoid and micro switch the solenoid now clicks when I put it in gear instead of when I hit the gas .I went through the wiring diagram and it looks like I have everything correct, am I missing something here.

you have the F&R micro firing the solenoid instead of the throttle.... you should have the F&R firing the throttle which feeds the solenoid...

So the micro that I replaced was the throttle micro and it only had the red and green wire hooked to it, Do I need to switch those or is there a micro on the F&R switch also ? Everything worked fine until I took out the stock solenoid.

99 txt series cart, 36 volt. Boy I could have swore when I installed the new F&R that I did it wire for wire, but obviously I screwed something up huh.

With the voltmeter check the F&R micro and see where the power is going .... do the same at the gas peddle. Sounds like you have switched them around ( If that's possible?)

Right on, I will check it out when I get home from work today. If I remember right there were only two small wires going to the F&R, one blue and one orange or red, so I am guessing those are the two that go to the micro ? I will take a look at the wiring diagram and hopefully I just got those two mixed up.

So take a look at the micro switch I replaced, now if my thoughts are correct the roller on the micro should rest on the large plunger cam in the idle position. Then when you hit the gas it comes off the cam and opens the micro which in turn activates the solenoid. I am guessing by the way the roller is sitting right now, that is why as soon as i turn on the key that the switch is open and activates the solenoid without hitting the pedal. Does this sound right guys ?

Yes.

The plunger s/b 17/64" gap at rest from the ITS.

I can look up the ITS adjustment procedure for you if you think it would help.

I'll have to dig a bit.

Thanks for the reply PG, I adjusted it last night and it works like it should now, solenoid activates when pedal is depressed.
I was looking at The micro switch that I got after discussing it with Gornoman and I agree with him in that I wasn't real pleased with the roller arm on the switch, it just seemed kind of cheesy and when I depressed the pedal for the first time it bent the arm just a bit so I also had to straightn that out too. Oh well she works great now "well around the neighborhood anyway", I will find out today when I actually go golfing.
