Solenoid clicking in low gear???
Hi guys!!! I'm new to the golf cart world. I have an electric 1985 E-Z-GO marathon. My problem is that I have this clicking noise in my solenoid only when my go pedal is in low gear(off to first gear). When I'm trying to creep in reverse, it really starts to click and buzz. This is a brand new solenoid that I put in, and it still clicks. I cleaned the 5 round contact points with contact cleaner and sanded them with fine sandpaper---that didn't help either. I thought maybe I would try adjusting the wiper arm, but I didn't want to screw things up (actually I wasn't sure how to adjust it). Any help would be very much appreciated!!! Thanks.
