Jake's 6" Spindle Lift Kit
I'm set on getting this for my 1999 Club Car DS that already has 10" aluminum rims and Kenda 205x50x10 tires. I'm not what I consider a motorhead or anyone that's all that mechanically inclined. I've read the installation instructions and they appear to be pretty straight forward.
My question is do you feel this is something someone of my caliber can install myself? |

Have to agree with DS. You can never be 100 percent on a smooth install, especially when the original cart's condition can make a big difference if you have to re-use a few parts. And the folks here can help you when you start with a quality lift like the All-Sports or Jakes........

Re: Jake's 6" Spindle Lift Kit
My Jake's 6" spindle lift kit will be here on Monday. During the holiday weekend, I plan on taking it to the campground and install it on the Club Car. I figure there's enough folks down there that have done this that can help me if I get stuck.
My question is what tools should I bring with me. Here's what I figure I'll need. - Lift Kit (obviously). - Tire Iron. - Floor Jack. - Jack Stands (2). - Wheel Bearing Grease. - Every wrench in my collection, hoping I actually have the correct sizes. |
