1985 electric club car brush kit problem
im having trouble finding a brush kit for a 1985 club car electric motor. ive even called club car and they advised that they no longer carried them nor could they order them for my motor. the numbers on the motor are: club car #1012190 and it also has a tag that reads mt320-08 (504) made in japan. im new to golf carts and this forum and any help would be appreciated.

Re: 1985 electric club car brush kit problem
You may want to just measure the brushes and look at various web sites. I googled " club car motor brushes" and found cart cities, inc. They had several types of brush kits for around $20-$25. Good luck and welcome to the forum. Randy

Re: 1985 electric club car brush kit problem
had to mesure and go that way, it works now thanks for the advice. But now when i push the pedal it clicks 3 times before moving, and then jerks to start off. all new solenoids. is this normal for an 85 model or do i have another problem.
