Question Is $600 a good price for a Jakes long travel lift with 4 22" tires?

I have a 1995 ezgo gas workhorse which I plan on lifting and a local guy quoted me $600 for a new lift and tires. I saw the tires, I think they were 22" x 10" but I am not sure, and I don't remember the brand. I can go back and get the details but I was wondering if the price was in the ballpark. I would be doing all the work so no installation charges. Also, would I need to buy anything else for this lift. I have just started looking into the lifts so I have not decided on how high I am going to go with this.

The price sounds to low for a new Jakes long travel front end and new tires. i was thinking the lift alone is more than that.

Yeah the lifts themselves are 800+ in most cases.

Are you sure its a long travel lift? Maybe he quoted you a spindle lift with tires which would bring the price in an more expected ball park.

As others have said though, if he wants 600 and it is a "Long Travel kit" Then dont walk but run and buy it!

Looks like you have a Workhorse 1200, didn't they have 8" wheels? You need 10" offset.

No way that's a true a-arm kit for that price!

O.K., got some more info, it is not a long travel lift, it is a Jakes spindle lift kit, and 22x11x10 wheels which are off set. The price is $650 plus tax for the parts. I am putting it on a 95 ezgo workhorse. Is it a good price? Is this lift good? I will be using the cart around the property, doing some hauling and pulling and driving on some real bad dirt roads. thanks
