80 marathon won’t crank
Hey guys cart was running fine and now it is dead and won’t start. The starter flywheel spins but belt doesn’t grab. I’m guessing something has seized but I don’t know where to start
I have tried jumping battery and didn’t do anything |

is this the cart that started out as an 89, and is now an 80?
Remove the spark plug, get a good grip on the drive clutch, and turn the engine by hand. If it doesn't move, it's time for a rebuild including crankshaft bearings. Is this an internal starter? |

It is! Under 3 levels of paint I found the serial number looks like it’s an 80 they must have changed seats at some point.

Ok so go it cranking again but now won’t turn over and drive. Could it be another carb issue? I can rip it off and back on to see tomorrow
