Default Recommend a good motor for my ezgo setup.

My emp two stage motor is toast. I bought it used and have ran it for almost a year.

My setup is a 95 ezgo series cart

48v upgrade
600 amp alltrax controller
48v heavy duty solenoid
2awg cables throughout
14" tires with low profile tires
Stock gear ratio

What motor would give the most speed and rpm without burning it up? It ran 25mph before, I'd like to have a motor that can handle higher rpms. with hills and coasting I've hit up to 36mph before.

Contact Plum Quick motors, or D&D motors

I don't know if DD's policy has changed, but when I needed support for a blown DD motor, they did not want to speak with me and told me to deal with it where I bought my motor.

East coast carts took care of it, but if you don't buy the motor from DD, don't expect them to support you if something goes wrong.

To the contrary, when I was thinking of getting out of my DD, I spoke with someone at Plumquick. I don't recall names because it was over a year ago, but I swore that when I needed a new motor, it was going to be a Plumquick.

My factual .02 of a buck.
