Ezgo had a kit a while back that included all the parts to switch over to the Kawasaki drive train. Was close to 2k but had everything including a new transaxle. New Robbins are not available but you could always drop in a clone.

Lets see what is wrong with the Robin engine first. If it is pre MCI and reworkable it would be the best option to rebuild it in my humble opinion.
