I would gladly ship my carb to someone that has a 625 to tune it, pay them and shipping if they honestly think that’s the issue. I did replace the plug and checked the valve gaps. Idk what’s going on.

Ok… so let me start out by saying I feel real stupid after finding out what the issue was. So after thoroughly cleaning the carb, replacing the spark plug, replacing the fuel pump and seeing absolutely no change. I thought about a very similar issue at work with one of our portable generators. “ What if I unhook the low oil sensor”. We’ll that solve the issue. NO, it was not low on oil, but it was due for an oil change. I changed the oil and filter, hooked up the sensor and it did the same thing. I put a quart and a half in just like the manual said. Unhooked the sensor again and it runs like a champ. Guess it’s time to source a new sensor.

Those sensors are junk. I always remove them, nothing but trouble. You just have to be religious about "checking the oil" old school style. I typically check oil in all my machines before I use them. If it was something I used daily, then once a week I'd check the oil. Small engines will use a little oil, that's why they put the sensors in them. Just stay on top of it.
