Re: 2008 G29 YDRE No Power
Thank you for the info. If I was to get a controller, which one should I get?

I am a huge fan of the Curtis controller. The reliability is unmatched.

Re: 2008 G29 YDRE No Power
You could test the motor with an auxilary 12v battery and look If it runs. There is an direct fit aftermarket controller from Alltrax for the Ydre. Connected to a Laptop, you'll be able to check every input ( sensors, switches, voltages etc. ) It's perfect for further troubleshooting and you get more torque and speed.

That is certainly a replacement motor. Probably a good thing!

I've looked into the Alltrax motors but there are a few choices for this cart. I don't know the difference. Which one should I get?

Re: 2008 G29 YDRE No Power
OK I think that no matter what, I am going to upgrade the controller to an Alltrax. There are 3 kinds the 300amp, 400amp, and 500amp. What's the difference between the 3 of them? Do they speed up the cart? Do I need to upgrade my solenoid for any of these? Thank you all for the help.

Re: 2008 G29 YDRE No Power
... more amps. The 300 is good replacement with stock tires, no rear seat. Speed ~ 22+ mph. With taller tires you'll probably better go with the 400 amp model, then the solenoid has to be replaced also. Speed depends on tire size, more torque.

Re: 2008 G29 YDRE No Power
When I look at the 300amp model it says up to 14mph. The 400 and 500 says 22mph. Is this correct? If I get the 400amp, what solenoid do I need?

Re: 2008 G29 YDRE No Power
Mine ran 22 mph with 20" tall tires. Check with the site sponsor ( ScottyB ), offering a bundle controller + solenoid
