Controller Cover Modification for Larger Controllers
Thought I would show you an option for controller protection and retaining the stock toggle mount for DCS and PDS carts. Simply cut the botton 2/3 off...

Re: Controller Cover Modification for Larger Controllers
Mike and Guys, would I do the same thing if I was upgrading my series cart stock curtis 1206 to a Alltrax axe 4855? Been wondering what to do. Thanks Bill

Re: Controller Cover Modification for Larger Controllers
Normally we would not replace the cover, or modify it so it would fit, but this has made me start thinking
I say the topside coverage could only benefit in protecting the controller connections... |

Re: Controller Cover Modification for Larger Controllers
I guess, but its in a protected spot to begin with. what are you trying to protect the controller from. The cover is not water proof, its in a spot were impact damage is very unlikely and as far as the "lugs" being exposed...look
12" to the right at the batteries. To need it doesn't seem necessary..kinda redundant and to a point silly I guess. Like an audible explosion warning alarm on nuke. |
